Tom spread the blanket

Jane spread her legs

   One day...
my daughter discovered that in our house a sure way of getting out of chores is to be overcome with a spasm of creativity just at the moment her presence is requested. In this case, the task was long. Thus, complete avoidance required a lengthy effort. Imagine my delight when she showed me this story which proved that she had listened to our every word, spoken and unspoken.
